At Flying H Genetics, we can offer you more than cutting-edge genetics - we also offer the best customer service in the business. Our sale is not complete until you are satisfied - that is why we offer each of our customers the following services.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEE--Our 17 Quality Standards are used as the basis for our customer satisfaction guarantee. For example, one of the quality standards is disposition. We cull hard for bad dispositions and don’t want to sell any animal that is a problem. If, after you get your purchase home you feel disposition is a problem just give us a call and we’ll replace the animal with another of your choice. Another quality standard is conformation and structural soundness. If a bull is purchased that proves to have a structural problem that we didn’t find we will replace him with another bull of the buyers choice. CALVING EASE GUARANTEE--is another part of our Customer Satisfaction Guarantee. All bulls sold at Flying H Genetics come with a calving ease guarantee. Whether sold as "heifer" bulls or not, if used as directed, any above normal calving problems that can be attributed to the bull will cause the bull to be sold for slaughter and a full refund applied to a replacement bull of the buyers choice is issued. If needed, DNA tests will be used to identify the correct bull if used in a multibull breeding situation.

COMPLETE DATA DOCUMENTATION--Registration Certificates with American Gelbvieh Association calculated EPD’s are provided with every registered animal. Every production measure from birth weight and gestation length to ratios and scrotal measurements, semen tests and ultrasound results are accurately recorded and submitted for proper documentation and proof. Much of this data is used to cull out the genetics that don’t meet our 16 Quality Standards and allows you to rank and sort the cattle according to your specific needs and wants.

VOLUME DISCOUNTS--As ranches continue to expand the need for more bulls annually expands and Flying H Genetics gives discounts up to 10% for those customers that purchase more than one bull at a time.

CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DISCOUNTS--After you have purchased over $5000.00 worth of bulls from Flying H Genetics you automatically qualify for a CAD discount on every bull you buy. This $25 per head discount is given at the time of purchase and is added on top of any other discounts that you may have.

SELECTION--A big part of customer service is having the product you need when you need it. That’s why Flying H Genetics offers Gelbvieh, Angus, Red Angus and GelPLUS genetics. These different genetic packages can fill you needs no matter what type of cows you have or the end point you are targeting.

We also offer you three ways to buy bulls:

Our annual auctions the first Saturday of March (Nebraska) or in November (North Carolina - J-BOB Ranch) where you can select from over 400 bulls

Private treaty sales

Contract production. This gives you over two hundred bulls to select from and we intentionally have bulls available year around to fill your needs.

FREE DELIVERY- Flying H Genetics has offered limited free delivery for 20 years as a customer service and because we think it is important to visit your ranch, see your cattle and make sure our cattle are helping you produce the genetics you want.

Since we sell cattle nationwide, fuel and equipment costs force us to put some limits on free delivery. The seed stock business, like all other businesses, must address the costs of product delivery as part of their overall customer service plan.

To treat every customer fairly we have established the following delivery policy:

A. Every animal valued over $1500 will be delivered free within 200 miles of Animal’s location.

B. Any group of animals with an average value over $1500 and a combined value over $15,000 will be delivered free within the 48 United States.

C. All other animals valued over $1500 will be delivered the first 200 miles free with additional miles charged at the rate of $1.00/mile prorated per head with freight charges guaranteed not to exceed $250 per head. For example, if we have five head to be delivered 400 miles and they don’t qualify for free delivery under “B” then the cost per head would be (400 miles – 200 miles free = 200 miles x $1.00 = $200 or $40 per head).

D. Animals valued less than $1500 will be delivered on a case by case basis.

CALF MARKETING OPTIONS--includes a free listing on our web site of steers and/or heifers you have for sale or are wanting to buy. We coordinate the sale and purchase of hundreds of cattle each year including steers, heifer calves and bred heifers and cows.

We also work with four feedlots that produce "Branded" beef such as Nebraska Corn-fed Beef and Amana Beef and Certified Angus Beef. They have certain protocol that the calves must have but they are in the market year around for Flying H Genetics influenced calves.

SMART BUY(tm)--an American Gelbvieh Association sponsored tagging and certification program for feeder calves is a new way for you to get a premium for your Gelbvieh cross calves and get data reports back on you calves. Flying H Genetics participates in the program and will help you get the correct forms etc. to qualify and will help pay for the ear tags.

First Season Death and Injury Warranty

For a small premium, Flying H Genetics will warranty the full purchase value of your bull against injury or death through the first breeding season or approximately 6 months after purchase. If the bull is injured and diagnosed to be able to recover with treatment, Flying H Genetics will furnish another bull at no cost for use until the purchased bull is able to service cows. If the injury is serious enough to prevent further use, the bull is salvaged and the difference between purchase price and salvage value is credited to the buyer toward a replacement of their choice. If the bull dies or is killed through no negligence or actions on the part of the buyer, the buyer will receive credit for the full purchase price of the bull toward a replacement of their choice. This warranty is limited to the purchase price of each bull and the credit will replace the injured or dead bull with another Flying H Genetics bull of equal value of the buyers choice.
